About SSHN

Solar Shower Help Nepal is a dedicated non-governmental organization committed to improving the quality of life for underprivileged communities in the rural areas of Nepal. Our mission is to bring sustainable solutions that address basic needs such as clean water, renewable energy, healthcare, and education, ensuring that even the most remote villages have access to essential services.

We focus on providing solar showers and solar lighting systems to households and community centers, enabling families to maintain better hygiene, save time, and study or work after sunset without relying on harmful kerosene lamps. By harnessing clean and renewable solar energy, we aim to reduce environmental impact while promoting healthier, safer living conditions.

Beyond energy solutions, Solar Shower Help Nepal actively supports health initiatives, including awareness programs, basic medical supplies, and improved sanitation facilities. We also place strong emphasis on education, helping schools in rural areas with resources, infrastructure, and solar-powered lighting so that students can learn effectively regardless of power availability.

Our work is driven by the belief that access to light, water, education, and healthcare is not a privilege but a right. By empowering rural communities with sustainable tools and knowledge, we enable them to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter, more self-reliant future.

With the support of donors, volunteers, and partners, Solar Shower Help Nepal continues to expand its outreach, bringing hope and positive change to those who need it most. Together, we strive to illuminate lives—one village at a time.
